Wow! I just made Alissa's fudge balls for the first time and is there anything better on this earth? If so, please tell me! I have not made the date nut torte yet which seems to be infamous. Are they equally delicious?

YES!!!! YES!!!! The date nut torte is a bit too sweet for me, but that's just me. both are equally as good, though. No need to worry!

i just made (and finished hehehe) the brownie recipe rawpriestess posted awhile back. oh my it DID taste exactly like SAD brownies...better actually IMO. i even tricked my SAD younger brother into eating them and he loved them..even AFTER i told them they were RAW :)

i agree the date nut torte is a bit too sweet for me too..but still yummy. can only eat a bit at a time though. but its sitting in my fridge right now awaiting my next visit :)

Alissa's fudge balls was the first recipe I made from her book. Took them to my Bible study class and they were a hit! Not one person asked if they were raw--they just disappeared. Rolled some in coconut, some in carob, and some in chopped nuts and placed them all on a plate with a bed of coconut beneath. They are still one of my favorites. I have not yet made her date nut cake recipe. The black forest cake recipe is awsome, though.
