Hey all, I have been high raw for close to three months now, since my fifth month of pregnancy. I am just getting ready to go into my eighth month and here's how it's going: GREAT!
I'm still at a 13-lb weight gain. My skin is clear. My breath smells good (even in the morning when it usually smells horrendous). My nails are strong and even look like I've just had a french manicure. I have high energy and chase a toddler around all day long (weee!). I can't wait to see how labor goes. My last one was 6 hours (from when it began to hurt badly until the baby was delivered) and I had back to back contractions the entire time.
I'm hoping raw makes a big difference in my labor. I know it doesn't for some people...I'm just crossing my fingers!

I just learned something quite interesting...my midwife informed me the other day that she really thinks this baby is going to be bigger than my last. I said, "Why would that be? I've been eating raw for the last 3 months and haven't hardly gained weight."
She told me that because the baby is getting more nutrients (from my nutrient-dense diet) that the baby is more likely to grow bigger and healthier. I'm excited! I was worried my baby might be too small. Well, I'm not excited for the pushing part though...
