I haven't been using frozen since becoming raw, but I think it's the only way I'll be able to have fruit, besides bananas & apples, around consistently for smoothies.

I can't tell from Whole Foods response if their method is good or not. Anyone else have thoughts on this or other brands?

I eat frozen fruits, but not frozen veggies, as the frozen veggies are blanched before freezing.

I use frozen berries all the time. Simply because it's the only way I'll get to eat berries, as the huge bag of frozen ones (blackberries, raspberries & blueberries) is waaaaaay cheaper than fresh. I can't afford right now to pay $4 or $5 for a tiny little 1/2 pint or whatever it is. It's worked well. There's no sweetener or anything added to it. It's not organic, but it's the best I can do. And I can't give up raspberries. :p

As for other fruits I freeze myself. Like canteloupe, pineapple, etc. I buy when on sale and freeze.
