I don't have bags under my eyes, and my skin has never looked better since being on raw (it's almost as though any fine line wrinkles are just smoothing themselves out), but I do have rings under my eyes. In fact, I didn't notice them that much before, but the clearing of my skin has almost made them more noticeable by contrast. Any ideas on the causes and treatment? I do sleep less on raw, so maybe that's part of it?

Hello,
About a year ago, I developed multiple food allergies that prohibited proper absorption of nutrients. That really caused my eyes to look tired and caused black circles around them. After I turned raw vegan, the rings slowly started to disappear. Then one week, I slept 12 hours a day, for a couple nights straight, and bam, no more circles. Could not believe it. In addition, instituting mono meals has helped as well in reducing the circles, now I have virtually no circles under my eyes, and I can truly say for just that reason, I will be a raw vegan for a long time to come...

My dark circles diminshed a bit with raw. But what significantly diminished them was when I started using rose hip seed oil on my face every day. Very soothing and leaves skin looking bright and glowy.

Thanks so much for advice from both of you!
For me it's all sleep. I mean, obviously SAD foods will make your face all puffy, cause break-outs, etc. But I find that nothing gets rid of dark circles (or bags too in my case) like a long, interrupted night of deep sleep.
