how to clean teflex?

Hi All,

I am a newbie to this raw food adventure. I just got my 9 tray dehydrator and am soooo psyched to use it. I can't find info anywhere on how to clean the teflex sheets. Could you please help me?!

Just run a sink of hot water and soak it a few minutes until the food softens, then wash it off.

You can use dish soap if you wish.

Rowan C is right, but don't fold them, always roll them, they will keep many years, mine are used almost daily and are 5 years old.

If you are having trouble moving tough foods from them, I use a little sea salt with warm water. This seems to give a little more cleaning action and is natural cleaning method.

Thank you for your suggestions on the teflex. I wasn't sure if I could use soap or not. It is nice to be connected with those who have walked the path. I appreciate your help.
