I was reading a couple of the recent posts about spaghetti, and I realized I had a question. I like the marinara sauce that can be put on top of raw spaghetti. My problem is with the zuchinni and squash. For some reason, I can't eat them. When I eat raw zuchini or squash, I get this weird queasy nauseated feeling then break out in sweat for at least an hour. This whole thing makes me laugh, because I never liked zuchini or squash when I ate cooked food. Cooked zuchinni and squash never made me sick.
My question is this, what can be substituted for the zuchinni or squash to make spahetti?

Hmm, the only other "noodles" i've made are with peeled cucumbers and I used olive oil and raw apple cider vinegar as "asian" noodles.

Hi bootzey, I have also used turnips, sweet potatoes, other hard squashes too you could also use parsnips and I bet carrots too. I hope this helps. Take Care.

try coconut meat--kind of time consuming but it really is good!!

any hard veggie,
squash
turnip
rhutebaga
potatoes
sweet potatoes
yams
celery root
beet
carrot
parsnips
radish
etc. I prefere the taste of yams number one, if you soak the startch out of them, although the crook neck squash is nice and firm and sweet, so is excellent with Alissa's marinara sauce as it is also sweet.
just go to the produce section, and ask your inner guidance what is the best food for you to buy, then buy that. it works!!
