New in Illinois

Hi everyone! I am new at this, but anxious to get started. This will be a huge change for me, but my family is very supportive.

I became interested in eating this way after my best friend took a raw food class from Alissa herself. She showed me the book, and the recipes sounded edible. I read everything on the website, and decided to try the 30 day challenge. As soon as I get the book, I will jump in and not look back.

I live in Deerfield...And have heard there is a Raw support group in Chicago and Evanston.
I have been 100% raw for 3 months tomorrow...
Stanley's has a great selection of raw for discount prices and trader Joes has a nice selection of nuts...Hope all is going well...Laurie :)
