Help! I've done a couple of different things that left me feeling like someone was sitting on my chest and that I was going to pass. I got shivery and the whole thing was very frightening. So much so that I went to the emergency room. After having tests run and blood pressures taken, I returned home with the Dr. saying that nothing was wrong. OK. There went a couple of thousand dollars I could have spent on organinc bananas! The reason I was so frightened was because I never have passed out and the only time I ever felt that way was after a miscarriage. I bled and bled and when they finally came to help me(this was in a hospital) I was going into shock. Now you see why I was a bit concerned about experiencing these symptoms.
Day 5 and Day 10 of my fast I experienced these symptoms again and broke the fast both days with solid raw food to stop this frightening experience. I quit my fast at day 14 because it probably would have happened again at day 15. Now, before I go out and spend money on a health doctor who will probably tell me nothing is wrong, can anyone tell me if they have experience the same thing without stopping the symptoms? I could deal with all the other symptoms, just not this one.

I did a fast of sorts about a month or two and about 5 days into it I lost my appetite. So I didn't eat anything on day 6 and when I woke up on day 7 to go to the bathroom I felt light headed and had to put my hands on the sink and bring myself to the ground while everything kinda went black and i closed my eyes for about 5-10 seconds, waited for it to pass and went along with my day, I was lower on energy , but for the most part fine,

The same thing happened to me 2 days later when again i lost my appetite so ate nothing and the next morning the same thing happened to me.

When I'm fasting sometimes, especially in the morning when I get up, I feel really light headed and dizzy and I black out totally and have all kinds of weird sensations. I have to grab something or I would fall down. For me, I think it's a blood sugar issue since my blood sugar goes lower when I'm fasting.

Thanks for your reply. I guess I won't die if it happens. It lasts for hours.

Hi--

As a person who has passed out frequently (miscarriage, over stressed) I can say that a fast that is too stressful doesn't work for me (the MC was a disaster). I can only do juice for very short periods as my detox is too strong.

I would love to think that the detox would happen and just get over with, but I've leaned that too fast is too uncomfortable. Thanks for the reply!
