I have been raw for 7 days today and am not hungry and am not eating much. I don't know if that is normal or if I should make myself eat more. I get nauseated thinking about eating anything more and figure it's probably best to do what my body tells me. (but I want to make sure)
I can get by on a few bananas, oranges, apples, carrots and a raw cookie. I feel full. I have lost 11 pounds in the 7 days so I like that but want to make sure I am not doing something wrong.

I wouldn't worry about it UNLESS, you get into a habit of not eating much or you get underweight. If you have a lot to lose I wouldn't go too low on your calories so you can keep your metabolism moving fast.. maybe eat a little coconut oil and agave on flax crackers or something almond butter on flax with a little agave:) I think I am going to make me one right now, quick and easy! One small one would add some calories if you are worried and sick of fruit.

If you are truly eating very little because it is what your body is desiring that is an excellent choice. Much information about longevity and extreme health is linked to minimal eating, calorie restriction, and fasting. The only thing to be sure of is that if you are eating very little, that you are wise with the choices that you make so that you are taking in as much nutrient and mineral dense food possible. Listening to your body and being gentle on yourself is essential. The best foods to be eating are GREEN!

ShantiDass,
I don't know about your weight - are you overweight? 11 pounds in 7 days is a lot, but it depends on your starting weight and how much you want to lose in total, too.
I also think you should listen to your body: If it wants food, it will tell you. If you feel fine the way you eat now, by no means change it! It might be a cleanse your body is working on and the less food it has to digest, the less work besides cleansing.
all the best,

Yes, 11 pounds in 7 days is alot unless you are over 100 pounds overweight.
then it is pretty normal.
The only challenge that I've had when I'm not hungry and not eating, is that it doesn't last, and I end up starving myself unintentionally, then I end up binging, so as long as you are feeling great, then wonderful!!!
and congratulations on 7 days raw, and the 11 pound weight loss, that is fantastic!!!
YOU RAWK!!!

Yep, I'm overweight but it doesn't seem like it will be for that much longer! I know the weight loss will slow down but I enjoyed that first big drop.
I know I need to add greens and am going to start that today. I am insulin resistant and get really, really sick from it and I haven't had that problem at all since going raw.
I was starving this morning and had a green bell pepper and an apple and now I am stuffed. That's such a difference from before.
People at work this morning noticed that something was different and are commenting on how nice I look. My skin looks great. YEAH, RAW!

Likewise my skin is looking radiant. My husband noticed the other day that I no longer have black circles under my eyes. As regards to the 11 pounds, I am not 100 pounds overweight, yet I am overweight and in my first 14 days raw I lost 20 pounds. I haven't weighed this week to see if I lost anymore, but I feel good. All of our bodies are different. What is normal may not be normal for another. If you feel good and it feels alright, then its probally normal, but if its not then you may want to question what is going on in your diet.
