Going 100%

Ok...wish me luck! I'm getting ready to go to sunny Florida and I am starting 100% raw tomorrow. I have very little food left in the house (besides raw) and we're eating individualy this week finish up the foods in the house so nothing goes bad while we are away. I'll be eating basic raw...fruits, nuts, salads. No recipies or anything like that. But it will be 100%.

Actually, I'm a little scared. Please cheer me on, I want to do this. No long term goals just day by day and hoping to feel really good. And being in Florida, there will be great fresh produce and, where we eat, lots of fresh salad buffets.

Oh, and if I can do this while being in Florida (and staying with in-laws) then I can do it anywhere and that will really make me feel confident and strong. Phew.

Gotta get some work done now (off the computer).

Eating 100% when I do just produce and such, no recipes, seems to be the easiest for me. When I do receipies, I will sometimes migrate to unorthodox ingredients!

Have a lovely time in FL. I live there, or here I mean..:) It is actually quite cold this week, which makes me sad, since i moved here to enjoy the sun. It is supposed to warm up over the next week. When do you arrive?

Congrats Twinyoga. You CAN do this...you've been doing excellent so far with what you have been doing of raw...I believe it'll be a breeze for you if you can just try and let go of your fears and just follow the lead of your body!

Good luck. You are doing it right by just saying day to day. Don't pressure yourself because it will be extra hard on vacation. You are also right that if you can do it while in Fla. and with the in-laws you can do it any where.

Cassy, I'll be in Boca Raton and DelRay and then to South Beach for one night.

Still think I'll be mostly raw while in FL.

That sounds great, I lived over on the east coast for a bit in the late 90s. My mom also had a condo in Boca. It had belonged to my grandparents, but she sold it about a year or so ago. That is a nice place to go to relax...It is quiet over there.

We currently live on the west coast of FL. It is a totally different world here on the gulf. I miss the ocean...
