Hi everyone,

Not sure if these have been mentioned anywhere else here but people may be interested - I know there are quite a lot of people, like me, who are members of this forum but live in England.

Sunday 4th June - Food of Life Festival in Brighton, on the south coast of England. Lots of speakers inc Shazzie, Angela Stokes, Kate Wood and Mike Nash. There will also be stalls and lots of yummy food available. Check out the website which gives more details - www.foodoflife.co.uk

Saturday 8th July - One day seminar in London by Dr Brian Clement. All about how to take on a living foods lifestyle, motivation, how to banish past food patterns and lots more. This costs £59 for the day which includes a raw/living food lunch and a goody bag from The Fresh Network who have organised the seminar. The website for this is www.fresh-network.com and places can be booked on-line.

By the way, I don't work for either of these organisations but thought a bit of publicity for two raw events would be welcome. :)

I will be going to both of these events and would love to meet up with anyone who sees this post who also plans to go. I struggle staying raw and both will be great motivators for me.

Best wishes.

Tracy

Hi Tracy I would love to go but I no longer live in the UK I live in the US. I have read about both of these events and would've so loved to attend. I hope you find someone from this board that lives in the UK to meet up with, I know I have met up with a few people from this board and it's so nice. Anyway you'll have to let us know how the events go.

Thanks Karen. I've never been to any raw events although I regularly go to the London Vegan Festival every year.

I'll try to remember to do a write up after I've been.

If anyone has the chance to hear Brian Clement -- do it!! He has decades of experience and research from working with thousands of people at Hippocrates Institute. Plus -- he's Ann Wigmore's "descendent" as director there. Plus, he's a great, nice, and accessible guy. He has answers, backed up by science, to all the questions I have ever seen raised on this forum and IRL. Don't miss him.

Thanks RawTruth. I have now booked my place on the Brian Clement seminar on 8th July. I'm really excited about it and it wasn't too expensive for the place £59 in English Money and that includes lunch and a goody bag.

I'm taking a friend with me to the Food of Life festival this Sunday. The weather is supposed to be improving - we had the wettest May in 10 years so everything outside is very green but damp!
