I was making crackers and flipped them once they dried on top, but they were still al ittle moist on the bottom (which stuck to the teflex). I put two wet teflex together, thinking I would get to wash them immediately, but with a house full of children (3 children ages 5 and under) it didn't happen.

Now there is black and white things GROWING on my teflex sheets!!!

What to do? I have grapefruit seed extract and that BioClean dishwashing soap that has grapefruit seed extract in it. Will that help?

Should I just throw the two sheets out and buy more? I would really like to salvage the sheets if I can.

Thanks for any help,
Paula

I would just wash them up good and stick them back in the dehydrator and put it on high for a few hours. With the soap you have and the heat they should be good again.

OK, I washed them, but they are still black - are they stained? Are they safe to use even though they are black?

Thanks for any help!
