Well, I thought I would post the results of my new dehydrator. I can't believe I waited all this time, and didn't just pop over and pick one up before now. I guess I kept thinking that I already had a perfectly good one, despite it's lack of fan, etc.

Anyway, the pizza came out nice. Alissa's recipe was great. I made the "easy" crust, rather than the gourmet or "easiest " version. It really is remenicent of pizza. I haven't had any in ages, so the flavor seemed to be right in line. My husband liked it too. Said it wasn't super special, but he did eat it. Funny, he left the edging "crust" just like he does on regular pizza. THat struck me as funny.

The recipe made 2 1/2 sheets in the dehydrator. I know that the hole in the center isn't totally orthodox for a pizza, but then, don't they make "pizza" pockets and pass those off for the italian specialty as well? :) :D :D

THis pie has sweet onions and mushrooms, as well as basil. I made a couple of other versions as well. Yum!

That looks so good. Every time I see something good on here I fell I have to make it. Now I want pizza. I bet it would be really good on onion bread crust. What do you think?

I agree, the onion bread would be fabulous. That was what my husband suggested too!

Hello all, I am wondering if someone is allowed to post the pizza crust recipes on here or are they copyright as they are in a book? Thanks a lot, Lillsie :)

I think out of curtesy to Alissa we don't post her recipies, but I can tell you that making one using the onion bread recipe which is posted comes out delish...It is all about creativity....

You can also find pizza "dough" recipes by searching on the raw & living foods web site. (rawfoods.com)

I have the pizza in the dehydrator right now, i made 2 because we are having company for dinner. I made one with spinach and mushrooms...and was trying to decide what I wanted on the other one. Now looking at yours Cassy...YUM...basil and onions...and I think I'll put olives on that one too!!Great idea! I made the "easier" crust (with buckwheat)...I'll let you know how it tastes later:)
