wondering if anyone has any unique topping ideas for zucchini angel hair-
i love chopped tomatoes, olives, and a bit of sea salt, but i'm making it often for someone who is allergic to tomatoes.
I love pesto or just pine nut parmesan, but if anyone has any really amazing other ideas, i'd love to hear!

You could try a nut alfredo sauce, or Shazzie's golden curry sauce (which is on page 410 in Alissas book). I will often julienne veggies and add mung bean sprouts to the spiralized zucchini and make a pad thai sauce, or peanut sauce.
Hope this helps!

You could try using red bell peppers instead of tomatoes. It could be like a italian red bell pepper marinara.

good ideas already,

anything tastes good on spaghetti, the marinara, alfredo, pine nut parmesian, I like to make a primavera and cream sauce for mine,

I use cashew cream cheese, and marinated sautee'd (in the dehydrator) mushrooms, brocolli, caulflower, red pepper, etc, and top the spaghetti with that, yummmmmmmmy

Peppers work great! I would use a combination of red and perhaps some yellow or red mixed with a bit of onion and garlic if you like that.

How exactly would you make a pepper sauce? Just blend peppers together with onion and garlic or is there more to it?

Also, blacktulip I just LOVE your user name :)

I would put the ingredients in the food processor or maybe use the immersion blender. I remember once using my Magic Bullet to chop a green pepper for something. *Oops!* Pepper sauce. So that would work too, but only if you need a small amount of it.

lunar*fey, thanks they're one of my favorite flowers, and black tulip bulbs are my birthday gift of choice (both to give and receive!)

today i munched on zucchini spirals with pesto and black olives with fresh basil on top. . . and looking forward to ice cream sandwiches tonight-perfect after yoga treat and a good remedy for the thunderstorm going on outside.
