Whole Foods and Trader Joes are stocking raw goods. I don't know if Trader Joes has always carried RAW Almond Butter and I just didn't notice but I got some last night! Yum Yum!

Whole Foods had a small section of foods from local raw bakeries. Blessings (makers of the famous RAWeo) and Lydias which is a restraurant.

The Raweo was much cheaper than online. I've seen them from $8 to $8.65 for the fudge and chai. They were only 6.99 at Whole Foods.

They were also having a Sale on Fabe's Organic Raw Energy Bars. I bought a dozen. Dates, walnuts, almonds, raisins, coconut, poppy seed and oranges.

We have two Whole Foods in my area. Only one stocks the raw goods in the bakery. And they just got it all in. I mean just. No bar codes. The poor check out clerk didn't know what to do with it. I had to explain: Baked goods, 6.99...

I spent a small fortune on cookies, crackers and bread. I had Lydias Raspberry Bar with Almond Butter this morning. Yum!!

Somebody out there recommended Teecino? Thank you Thank you. This stuff is fab.

Down here in florida, there are a couple of raw bakeries that ship to local healthfood stores too. Glaser Farms (http://www.glaserorganicfarms.com/) is one of them. I have bought their crackers on occasion, and I love their temple balls. So easy to make, yes, but when you are out and find something that is "fast food" without it being cooked, it is nice.

I miss trader joes. We don't have them here in Florida. When i was in CA that was one of my weekly grocery stops!

Cassy.:)
