esp long term 100% raw vegans. I was raw for 1 month and got very weak so I went to see a ND and he suggested a multi and some enzymes. I don't like taking them. I've been vegan for 5 yrs and never supplemented and was fine. I've always been low on energy though. I'm wondering if anyone has lived long and healthy just eating a raw vegan diet?

I've been a vegetariand for 12 years, vegan for 7 and raw for off and on 5, I have never supplimented until this last month, I always felt fine.

But, I read alot of stuff, and thought maybe I wasn't losing weight because of enzymes or whatever, so started taking probiotics and enzymes, still no weight loss, so I'm decided to stop taking them, it's been a couple of weeks, should have seen SOME difference I suppose.

Sublingual B-12 is all. Being pretty strict vegan (natural hygienist) almost 30 years and started the B-12 about 10 years ago. I've been checked many times previous and since, never had low anything, excepting heart rate and blood pressure. I don't take salt or hot spices which probably accounts for some of that. I'm not 100% raw though was for quite a number of hermit like years back in the 80's. :D Seems more fashionable these days.
