Advice for a newbie!

Hi...I'm so excited to be starting on this journey!

I was wondering, can someone tell me, do I soak the nuts before making the cheesecake (or any recipe involving grinding up nuts) or does the act of grinding them down and then adding liquids to them mean that I don't need to? Hope that makes sense! All the best!

Hi!

I find soaking the nuts first makes them easier to blend and sometimes creamer. I don't soak if I want more texture. That's just me though!
