I just got some from my CSA pick-up. Apparently you can just thinly slice it and eat in salads. I love trying new foods!
Has anyone else had one before?

I presume you mean Kohlrabi? Yes, I've had it. I prefer it just sliced or cut in sticks, perhaps with a bit of salt. My father in law used to grow it for my sister in law and me. We were the only ones who liked it. And we both liked it plain. But it was a rare instance where we got it that way. My mother in law was forever getting to it before we did and turning it into some sort of creative salad.

Lovely, great vegetable - very common in Europe, especially in Germany! You can eat it in slices as is or with some salt, shred it into salad, use it for dipping and so on.
I love kohlrabi!

I presume you mean Kohlrabi? lol, most likely! I used the spelling off their newsletter, so it must be a typo. :)
Can the leaves be used as well?

hmh, good question, never used them, they are usually cut off when I buy the veggie anyway.
just try them on their own, see if you like them, if yes, toss them in a salad.
