That would be why people take bathes with epsom salt? so would it be ok then to wash your face with salt water? and if it is should you use a 'raw' salt like sea salt instead of the reg morton iodized salt?

I would think it should be fine to wash your face with salt water. I bathe in a mineral pool that has a couple tons of mineral salts in it and it's so relaxing and wonderful for my skin. I don't know what kind of salt you should use though. My guess would be Himalayan crystal salt or some kind of therapeutic sea salt.

I read that 1/2 cup Epson salt; 1/2 cup Sea Salt; 1/2 cup peroxide and soak for 30 min is a good detox bath... I tried it and now I do it at least once a week.

When you soak, do you have to soak the WHOLE body at the same time. I have one of those old tubs from, like, 25 years ago and the thing is tiny, tiny, tiny. So I can only soak half of me at a time. haha
