Normally I tend to eat pretty simply (everything in it's whole form or green smoothie)...partially because I simply love the food this way and feel no need to make things out of them and partially because I rarely have all of the ingredients for one thing and am afraid I will make something horrible if I try to substitute. Yet I love to be creative...and so I made something one night.
Here's a sample of my dinner two nights ago...

It is a portabella mushroom (my first one ever!) with a very thin layer of pesto-ish spread thing I made up and then a few pieces of spinach leaf and then another little layer of the spread on top with a sprinkling of kelp granules and then some little celery slices to top it off. Then I stuck it in the dehydrater on 105 degrees for maybe a couple hours. It was quite good! I also had some of the spread (only it was more like a sauce before being refridgerated) on some broccoli and put that it in the dehydrator for a couple hours as well. Both were quite good!
