Welcome one and all to the world of the rawbadboy!

I've been living now for almost two years fully raw and things are starting to manifest in terms of success.

To anyone wanting to succeed raw and not use it as the answer to their life problems and issues (which could actually make things worse at the beginning), I recommend one thing - developing a good sense of humour before anything else.

I wouldn't even recommend any books on raw for anyone interested who hasn't yet made the plunge, as their is so much misinformation (as it is still a baby in its growth) and uncertainty. And even if you eat the best foods in the world in the best methods possible as nature intended, it won't mean a thing if your life isn't in balance in terms of exercise, meaningful relationships and methods of financial survival/ freedom.

Get a basis with all four and you can't lose, but to get through the times that may not be to your liking (momentarily), if you have a sense of humour and a good level of composure, you'll be sure to find it easier to not just be raw, but to enjoy everything that is possible with it!

Excellent post Rawbadboy. Raw is a big lifestyle change. Not only for ourselves and our bodies, but our friends and loved ones - big change for them dealing with it also. Make the changes as gradually as you feel you should and could do. Be armed with lots of factual info. and have your short term and long term goals about where you want to be with RAW, obviously 100% is probably for most of us the long term goal. As with everything in life, "Be Prepared". Be smart about total balance in your life. Be smart about your total health: exercise, plenty of sunshine, nutrition, working hard, being disciplined, playing hard, relaxing, family, etc. and as Rawbadboy says even your financial health and freedom.

Great post Rawbadboy.

Just my two cents, maybe not even worth that, especially with inflation, now that's going to get ugly for all of us for everything, but love my organic food anyways. Sorry, off topic.

Have a great day all.
Scott

Well said, I agree absolutely! I used to take myself and life so seriously that I was known by my family for my perma-scowl... :D Raw doesn't have to be a burden, or a struggle. And then it just flows :p

(Thanks for putting your website link, I'm just skimming the Left in the Dark stuff, and I'm all for science-y things so am finding it fascinating)

I was thinking the same thing Sport :) Rawbadboy, you seem like a good boy too me. Thats a compliment by the way. Badboys never go the long haul. They're the guys you like through elementary and highschool but not generally as an adult (at least in my experience) :P
