Where Can I Buy A Durian?

I keep hearing about this amazing fruit and I would love to try it. I have never seen one before. Anyone know where they can be purchased? I live in Austin, TX.

An Asian Grocery. My closest was 4 hours away! Luckily the wonderful people who own the Nail Salon I frequent go twice a month and were more than thrilled I was interested in this fruit and picked one up for me. So very nice of them....although we didn't care at all for the Durian, lol

Oh, an asian grocery never even occurred to me. Thanks for responding. I am looking forward to bringing it to work and freaking everyone out with the smell. They'll never know it's me. :)

I don't live in Texas but if you have a local oriental market near you you can usually find them there. I hope this helps. Blessings Karen

Definitely an asian grocery store, though I wouldn't be suprised if Central Market had them (probably not HEB, though).
