I know this probably has been asked several times .....Ok I have been eating raw pretty much 95% for a few months now... I know detox will do this but I need to start feeling better... I started taking b-12 also.... but still feel very weak. Especially in the legs... they hurt and are weak when walking... I feel I get plenty of food.. I drink two quarts of green smoothies in the am have fruit and nuts and seeds for snacks through the morning... and well sometimes eat cooked at nights... I have been incorporating more nut things thinking the need for fats seem to make me feel somewhat better but still It is a nagging weakness that is just getting tired... sick of feeling this way... Can someone tell me what I am missing in my diet... going to fit day... it seems I have plenty of calories.. with the nut fats and dates in the things I have made... something is still missing... hellllppp??? Could this still be detox? when do you start to worry if detox should be something more serious... I feel fine otherwise... yes, getting plenty of sleep also...

Are you drinking enough and have you had your blood pressure checked. Maybe it is low.

I've been raw fod 1 month and after 3 weeks i started to get very weak. it was hard to breathe and get up in the morn i just want to sleep the day away. although I didn't have weak legs. I had to stop working out completely. I can only work I can't come home and do anything elese it take up all my energy. I went to a raw vegan holistic dr. He gave me a mulit vitimin and some herbs to help heal my digestive system. o and some enzymes to break down hard raw food. He said i wasn't digesting enough nutrients and that i wan't getting enough protien. he told me I need to make nut milks and drink that and put the pulp on my salads which is very yummy. I ve been wek for two weeks and I just started the supplements two days ago. I do feel better during the day but I still need 12 hrs of sleep at night. I think it will take a week or two to get up on my energy but who knows. I know I will bounce back. so yes there is a lot of vitimins and protien in raw vegan food however is your body able to utlize it?

I am interested in the vitamins your dr told you to take.. did he suggest a certain kind? also the herbs and enzymes brand? I had thought maybe in need of the enzymes besides the food because I have been heavy all my life... so I started eating or should say drinking my greens so I did not use so much energy in digesting the harder greens.. but still think I might need more.. I will try the nut milks also... I have been eating long enough that I should be ok detox wise.. and am a bit worried about the leg things.. Oh... also my blood pressure has been fine.. or rather was when I started all this... I do not feel dizzy or anything just weak to the point that i do not feel like walking much... like even to the car. it is sad... :(

I drink about 64 or more oz of water a day.. in the bathroom all the time..lol and as I said in previous post the blood pressure was good before starting this .. unless something changed because of eating this way.... but then I always had the weak leg problems most of my adult life.... the only thing that has changed is that the legs do not hurt as much now now since doing raw... just mostly really weak and shakey...

well first with the enzymes he said to open up the capsels and eat it on your food. I haven't recieved thoes in the mail yet. I'm getting all these things from his suppliers who only sell to dr. But I'm sure you can get any high quality enzymes. I 'm taking a synethic high quality multi vitimin it have eveyrhting in it. agian he said i'm sure you can get one form the nfs. He said the ones that are made from food are not as effective. I'm also taking the following herbs 3x a day in between meals
marshmallow
geranium
echinacea purpurea
slippery elm
turmeric
goldenseal
eleutherococcus sentcsus root
glycyrrhiza glabra root
centella asistica herb
oplopanax horridum root bark
withania somnifera root
ginko biloba leaf
I know it looks like a lot I have some in pill form and some in tetcure form
I'm not sure if they are all for my digestive system I believe most are but what you could do is go get a pill form of a mix of herbs that are helpful for the digestion and a tea. I know not really raw but I believe tea has it's uses.
He said I only need to take all of this until I feel better mabye one month then only take the supplement which he personlally uses beacsue our soil is depleted and not even raw organic food is perfect. I just have to metion i'm not a fav of supplements but I feel mentally better was very foggy and unclear before after just using the muli vitimin. this all may not help you but I don't think the enzyme and multi vitimin would hurt
