Okay I am trying to figure out at least a top ten. There are so many different opinions on classifying items as superfoods. I have looked through the web and this is a list of commonly called superfoods:
Goji Berries
Cacao Nibs
Bee Pollen
Acia Berry
Allium Family (garlic, leeks, scallions, chives)
Barley
Greens
Buckwheat
Lentils
Hot Peppers
Nuts & Seeds
Sprouts
Flax
Kale
Quinoa
Blueberries
Maca
Aloe Vera
Spirulina
Blue-Green Algae
Bee Products
Noni
Mangosteen
Medicinal Mushrooms (as in ??)
Chinese herbs (as in ??)
Yacon
Now I definately would say 100% goji berries, cacao nibs, and spirulina (isn't that the same as blue-green algae??), and also bee pollen if you are okay with that. The little reading I did on Yacon sold me also but I have no personal experience with it.
But that is only four superfoods. I would like to try to come up with a top tem.
So we are taking votes--if you have something that should be on the top ten let us know what & why.
And I am hoping to be specific-individual items not a whole range.
