Guys, I had to post this. I made the mock salmon pate last night. It was delicious. I realized that I have been approaching raw-foodism expecting the food to be nasty. I read recipes in books (usually AlissaÂ’s) and I donÂ’t believe this food will be palatable. Daily I am shocked when something turns out delicious. I realize I need some serious help with my attitude.

I have been flirting with the idea of going raw for a few years. I saw an episode of Oprah, years ago, where this stunning woman attributed her appearance to live cuisine. There more I investigated, the more I felt like this was something I needed to incorporate in my life. Thanks for being a supportive body of people.

I don't mean to sound sarcastic, but the phrase, "There are none so blind than those that will not see" comes to mind as I read your post.

Look around!! :)

Hi Bootzey,

Just wanted to say that my experience has been more raw meals are winners than not. I think it just takes a perspective change -- we didn't cook everything perfect the first time did we?

Good for you...Here's to you continuing to discover the great foods out there.
