I saw this post in response to someone asking of a member's whereabouts and thought it warranted it's own thread for future reference for posts of a similar nature...

"people come and go, they fall off the raw wagon, and asking where someone is can cause them a lot of embarrassment if they are lurking.
We must allow each person their privacy and everyone has their own reasons for posting, or lurking or leaving and moving on to another forum, or opening up their own.
Alissa has asked that we use the forum for supporting each other on the raw food lifestyle, and not to post these type of "where is so and so" threads
Some members have their email address posted in their profile, so if you want to contact them you can email them directly and ask where they've been and what they've been up to."

So, be sure to check if the person in question's email address is available in their profile because if it is, as Rawpriestess stated, you can email them and see what they're up to, etc. If not, then let them be...if they choose to come back and participate in the forum, they will and THEN, you can welcome them back, tell them how much they were missed, etc. etc.
