View Full Version : My first 30 days!

Well, folks, I made it to the end of my first 30. I will start a second round after my birthday tomorrow. I was faithful in keeping my journal, but for one day when I was able to observe the bathroom plumbing up close, and was so sick that a record of food eaten that day would have been moot. Seems that eating raw kidney beans is not very smart, even worse when you make it into a Vita-mix soup. If anyone doubts that soup can be hot and raw, my kidney bean fiasco will convince otherwise. It seems that the partially cooked kidney bean it quite toxic. Having never read this before, I later learned that the body can only host this atrocity for an hour minimum. How true it was, for after one hour I had my head in the toilet and made more promises to God that will be difficult to keep. Hopefully, I will live another 50 years if I study the list of other toxic foods one is not to eat raw. :D

Thank you, ladies. Today I am checking out a new PCC that is opening. All of their produce is organic, so I don't have to pay attention. I can just load my cart. BTW Rawlockins (did I spell that right?) I am sorry to have missed your May food demo last Saturday. Hopefully, enough people will sign up for the summer sessions.

Goddess.....I have to repent, because I laughed at the picture you painted in my head. With you, not at you....I swear.
Thanks for the warning!
That is something I'd have tried, because I love kidney beans!

I dare not tell you my latest folly. I will cover it in my journal. Suffice to say, I am truly a wiser raw foodie after I spent the day after my 30 days celebrating my birthday on cooked food. The sounds in my stomach are other worldly to say the least . . .
