I purchased dried apricots last week

I really need to know how to use them in a recipe. Can i use them to make bread or in a dish? The price was good and being on a budget i thought they were a good buy from the health food store.

I LOVE them and use them in my favorite raw cookie, Chewy Apricot Cookies. The recipe is in The Complete Book of Raw Food, which I don't have with me, so I can't share the recipe yet, but basically it's oat groats, walnuts, apricots, dates and raisins -- probably some cinnamon and other spices, too. I'll try to remember to post it later tonight.
