ok so this is MY version of Tiramisu.
http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g126/robertandenith/Cocina/IMG_2915_9_1.jpg
INGREDIENTS
Crust
1/2 c. walnuts
1/2 c. pecans
1/2 c. raisins
1/4 c. dates
Filling
1 small basket of strawberries
3 large bananas
1/4 c. coconut oil
1/4 c. raw cacao coarse (put nibs in a blender!)
2 dates
3 tbls raw honey or agave
cinnamon (optional)
vanilla bean
Crust: Mix everything in food processor until you get a crumb looking like, not smooth paste! Put aside.
Filling: Mix the bananas, half of the portion of the honey, the coconut oil, the dates, cut the vanilla bean in three parts and add only one part on this mixture, half of the portion of the honey or agave then blend on a blender until smooth. Pour some in a pyrex tray or anything that is glass and has a lid, then put aside the rest. On top add a layer of the crust without padding, just add loosely. You might have some crust leftover, so put aside!
In a separate bowl, add the strawberries and 'mash' with a fork all of them and add the rest of the honey or agave. Then add this in a layer to the pyrex tray on top of the crust layer. THEN, add the rest of the banana mixture in a layer, next, spread the raw chocolate then more loose crust then, sprinkle some cinnamon powder very lightly!
Optional: You can decorate with strawberries cut in halves!
Refrigerate for 4 hours and enjoy! :D
Please if you try this recipe post here how you like it, will love your feedback! :D

Yum, that sounds so good! The strawberries here are currently bland and ick, but I'll try this once they get more into season.
Now someone just needs to come up with a raw baklava recipe and I'll be set as far as desserts are concerned! :D

It's a middle-eastern dessert. Greek baklava has a filling of walnuts, almonds, sugar, and spices (typically cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg), layered with phyllo dough, and covered with a honey-based syrup. The trick with that is coming up with a suitable substitute for the phyllo dough. I found a couple of recipes using the search function that sound halfway decent.
I just remembered, though, that Persian/Iranian baklava is made without the dough and usually has rosewater added in to the syrup. It would probably be easier to make a raw version of that variety of baklava.

Enith: your web site is in Spanish! I was going to e-mail you but no se puede. Do you have recipes in Spanish? I was teaching 28 Hispanics the works of Green Smoothies with a translator. There are 35 of them currently on a trial basis of 3 Green Smoothies a Day.
They are looking for recipes in Spanish. Our next meeting is Nachos. they have Refried Beans, several cheeses, sour cream, just like beef that they will be bringing. Anyways. would you e-mail me? wyjozu2@aol.com Joz

I tried making this but I didn't have all the ingredients and it went wrong, so I ended up making something else. But as it was based on your recipe I'll post it here. Thankyou anyway! I was lost for a recipe so you rescued me today.
Not-Tiramisu
Blend 3 bananas, 4 teaspoons honey, 1/4 cup solid coconut oil, 2 dates. Put in freezer to chill while preparing rest.
Blend 1 bananas, 1/4 avocado, 75g frozen blackberries. Put in freezer to chill while preparing rest.
Without washing the mixer, I put in 4 strawberries and a teaspoon honey, and chopped the strawberries to a mush with bits and pieces in.
In a food processor grind 1/2 cup dates, 1/2 cup pistachios until a fudgey solid ball. Add 1/6 cup cocoa powder and blend to a chocolatey fudgey ball. I divided the ball into 10 and made each 10th into a finger shape.
In a glass bowl I made a layer half of the banana. Put 3 fingers on top in a row, then 2 fingers on top of them cross-ways. Then the blackberry. Then the rest of the banana, then the other 5 fingers. I put the strawberry above and below the fingers. I sprinkled a teaspoon of cocoa powder over the strawberry. I put raspberries and blackberries in the squares in between the fingers. I put in the fridge to chill.
