HI! While out today I thought if I carried a small water bottle with me I could take small drinks and swish the water around in my mouth then maybe I wouldn't feel so bad about thinking my breath smells bad. I use to chew a lot of gum for this reason. So today I decided to squeeze lemon in my water and swish with that. My mouth feels clean and refreshed. I don't know but it sure felt better when I was among a lot of people today?????
Just a thought!!
smiles!! :)

That's a great idea emmaann, I feel that I have bad breath at times and am not comfortable around people for this reason. I'll try this. Thanks for sharing. :)

Carrots and parsley are natural breath fresheners. In fact, parsley is so high in chlorella if you eat enough of it, everything stops stinking. I've been using a chlorella supplement. No more foot stink, no more pit stink, no more morning breath. Love it! Forgot it for a week all excited about my raw and got stinky again...

I saw a lecture last week at Ecopolitan and the speaker mentioned that gum chewing can cause indigestion and in turn cause bad breath, because as you chew a signal is sent from your brain to your stomach telling it that food is coming and to get ready for it, so your stomach produces bile for the incoming food... but nothing shows up.

Lemon water is good, parsely is good, and I've also heard that eating an apple refreshes the breath. I drink lemon water and eat lots of apples and I've not had any comments from family members about my breath. Believe me, my son would be the first one to say something if I did have bad breath.
Emmaan, do you find that your sinuses are draining as a result of detoxing? I know when I used to have sinus problems, my breath would smell. I used to eat parsley sprigs right out of my garden, but if it's a sinus drip, that will clear up eventually if you stay raw.
Thx=1138, I'm glad I don't chew gum!! Thanks for that intesting bit of information.
