Ok, to be honest this dessert wasn't able to get home safely! (lol) so I couldn't take pictures I ate it too soon! I forgot to bring my camera also BUT will try next week!

Here is the list of ingredients THIS STUFF WAS EXTREMELY YUMMY!!!!!!!!!!

Please remember all these ingredients are RAW and they are organic!

Almonds
Bananas
Macademias
Pecans
Dates
Coconut
Fresh Coconut
Cashews
Chocolate in Powder (this can be done with the nibs and throw them in a grinder)
Tahitian Vanilla Bean
Cinnamon
Agave

This desert looked like there was banana spreaded in the bottom, then a layer of the chocolate in powder was on top, next a THICK layer of a mixture of nuts/dates, then another layer of banana, then a layer of the coconut (meat) with vanilla bean, agave and cinnamon was put on top, THEN they spreaded more chocolate powder at the end. Next time I will REALLY try to remember to bring my camera, I was so bummed I didn't :(

I am going to try this recipe tomorrow!!!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY ALL MOMMAS! :)

robertandenith, did you get it from the Glasser at Coconut Cove Farmers Market? We go down to the Redland area once every year or so. I've wanted to go the market and we found the lot once but it was the wrong day. The trafic was so horrible getting there that hubby did not want to try it again Saturday. Just wondering.

I've ordered from them several times and we've gotten their deserts from The HFS on US1 there in south Miami (my brain isn't working tonight). It's always been good.

No I can do the same with RAW, I am going to ask for details on how to make this dessert, I think they would not be able to tell me just because they teach this recipe at their classes, who knows... but I will still try, won't lose anything!!!

robertandenith: Thank You this sounds wonderful. Keep us posted as to how it turns out and picture? It seems that there are more 'tiramu' lovers who, will be making it? Now we can have the 'real' thing! a living, healthy, tiramisu. RAWgards Joz

I haven't tried that one yet Brianna but to be honest, I just love that tiramisu so much that never get around to get the strawberry shortcake! lol

I also order their pizzas or tostadas, and some shots of wheatgrass. Also their grains, spices, coconut waters, then then... lol I always end up spending more than I expect and more than I should be spending

not really the 'coffee' flavor but because of the raw chocolate, it does tastes a bit bitter but with the chocolate taste. I can't really explain, it is just so yummy... sighsssss I am day dreaming right now!

Update!

Most of the time I don't get around to the shortcake either because I'm dazzled by the tiramasu. Recently, I've been having both!!!! I always end up spending so much money there. I love the stuffed mushrooms. And have you tried the quesadillas and burritos from the guy with the little stand set up next to Glaser's? Oh, my goodness! Delish!

hehehe well, I just posted the recipe and OMG we just tried it and my husband gave me an 8 as a tiramisu but a 10 as a regular desert! lol!!!! but to be honest, we tried the desert too early so we are going to try more tomorrow, my coconut oil was totally liquidish so it is taking longer to 'harden up' a bit.

Did you take a picture? I went browsing in a Natural store. Found Frontiers Coffee flavor and Chocolate flavor of course I bought them! See if or how they will 'help' with the tiramisu! As soon as I try this I'll do 1/2 recipe regular and play/mess with the other 1/2 with the flavors. I'll let you know. and as RP said, you can always add a little more of this or more of that and come up with something that might be a 'winner' Joz

I did a search for SAD version of Banana Tiramisu: this is interesting take a look and see if we can convert it to RAW/LIVING/HEALTHY? RP can you help also? This will be easier as it does not call for eggs!!! http://www.heavenlytiramisu.com/rcp-316.htm Joz

this sounds so interesting!

I could make this but will have to find date sugar which Glaser sales (it's raw too!). I could make it w/o the sugar too...

Brianna
05-17-2006, 07:38 PM
I'd love to meet you! We'll probably be leaving for Glaser's around 11:00 or 11:30. We live in West Palm, so it should take us about an hour and fifteen minutes. We should be there for sure by one. We always eat first, then shop becuase if we shop first...well, we'd buy them out!!! I am nineteen. I have blondish-brown hair and blue eyes. Five feet seven inches. Actually, my picture is in the gallery on this site. The lady I'm going with is 55, a few inches shorter than me with grey hair (shoulder length). I'll probably be over by the desserts!!!! That's where I always am when I go to Glasers!!!
