tostada receipe?????

I have tried several times to make crackers and the tortilla's and i am not doing something right............temp, or cooking time?????

Does anyone have a great reciepe just for the tostada..........or cracker receipe I guess.........

I have several cookbooks (raw) and i must be doing something wrong cuz they dont turn out as good as the raw crackers you can buy.........

What is different between yours and the ones you've bought? Flavor, texture, crunch?

If you can describe the ones you've purchased and then describe the ones you've made, maybe I (or someone else) can better assist you.

I haven't had any tortillas or tostadas that taste like the SAD versions and I doubt they ever will...but they are still good-tasting in their own right...just different.
