Dried Papaya?

Has anyone tried to dry papaya at home? Does it become as tasty as those in shops excluding the sugar of course. Before I used to buy lots of dried papaya but the sugar made me feel awful when I always ate to much.

I had only eaten dried papaya before I went raw but the latest days I found out how delicious papayasmoothie are. There are so many lovely fruits I didn't even have a thought of trying when I ate cooked ashes! Raw is one of the best things that have happened to me ever! :D :D :D
