did anyone buy any raw cookbooks from regular stores? barnes and nobel? borders? walden books? or anywhere else?

i dont have a credit card, so it'd be hard for me to order any online!

i figure i'll try the food/cooking/recipes sections of some book stores and see if i can find any raw books

The answer is yes.

Suggestion ~ if you've got a checking account, get a debit card. That way you wont be spending more than you have and you can get what you want when you want it.

I don't use credit cards meself. If I don't have the cash, I don't get it. (Thing is, I always have the cash... yet, when I didn't....). :D

I have gotten some in regular bookstores, I was surprised they had any in my town, but they were beside the vegetarian cookbooks section. :)

I've gotten some at Barnes & Noble. I know they have Juliano's book, Raw: The Uncook Book. They've also got several others.

Hi! Just in my experience, I buy mine at Half.com. Sometimes, if I see a title at barnes or booksamillion, I go to half.com.

But...you need a credit card for that so...

How about online?? You can find a ton for free!!

I highly recommend thegardendiet. You can pay through paypal & they are having a spring sale so you can get all 11 ebooks, the music downloads & read the journals for 20$ (save 30$)

if bookstores don't have a book availabe, but it's listed in a catalogue, they can order books for you and let you know when they arrive and you just pick them up then.

Amazon.com now has the option of withdrawing payment directly from your bank account. I do have a credit card, although love having the option of not feeling that I have to use it. (Congratulations to you for not having a credit card!) :)
