Is it possible to dehydrate items to long in the dehydrater and kill the enzymes? I like my sweet and white potato chips and flaxseed crackers very crispy so I leave them in longer than the recipe calls for. :)

Hi Alice, I did a weekend with Chad Sarno and he said that you couldn't dehydrate for too long as the food just got drier, nothing else changed.

I made nofrystirfry and dehydrated it too long - it was very small and definitely dry. LOL.
