I'm off to visit my mother this weekend for Mother's Day. She doesn't know about me being raw. She tried to have me committed when I became a vegetarian (kind of joking). I'm certain eating will be part of this visit and it is a 5 hour one-way trip in the car. My question is this...

What can I prepare for this road trip and visit with my Mommie (Dearest)? Joking again, kind of. It's hard to drive and eat small foods (i.e. cashews, raisins, etc) or food I have to look at. Any suggestions?

I just went on a road trip last week...10 hours one way!! I did take my juicer and used it at the hotel. We left at 5 A.M. and I made a green smoothie just before leaving and put it in a thermos....that was breakfast and held me just fine til 1ish. I had dehydrated apples and bananas that were easy to eat while driving. I think I had my son peel me an orange too. I did just fine and was never hungry. Enjoy your trip and remember Mother's Day is for you too!!
