Hi Everyone,
I'm Cincygal from Cincinnati, OH. I'm in the process of gathering information about the raw foods lifestyle. My hope is to get as much info as possible up front in order to make the transition easier.
For you not- so -newbies, how was your transition? Did you do it gradually or go cold turkey (or carrot ;))? Did you use a trasition coach or mentor? Are there transition metors or support networks in the Cincy area? What equipment, besides the dehydrator, has made going raw easier for you?

Hi Cincygal!
Nice to see another Ohioian on the board. I'm from Cleveland!
I do wish you a nice and easy transition. I hope that "raw" suits you well! Aside from little kitchen gadgets and knives, etc. the only equipment I use is a high powered blender, dehydrator, juicer, and food processor. There really isn't anything else that you need. Please feel free to contact me anytime with any other questions regarding the raw lifestyle. I realize that it is quite a hike for you but my company does offer "raw classes", potlucks, alissa cohen cert. courses, coaching, etc. Please let me know if we can help you in any way. We just want everyone to live raw and be happy!
Jodi
