I had been raw for 14 days when I fell of the wagon. This was yesterday. I ate 3 gynormous slices of cheesy bread and had a couple of glasses of wine. Fast forward to today. I am running a fever between 102.6-104.4. My extremeties are numb (like I sat on them funny),vomiting, diarrhea, headache, bodyaches and the skin around my EYES went numb earlier. I have treated with wheatgrass, fresh fruits and veggies and water. Is this detox or a reaction to the cooked food? Or both?? Anyone else have this happen? By the by, the cheesebread tasted like CRAP as did the wine and I competely regret eating that garbage. Also, haven't dropped a pound in 14 days. I am FRUSTERATED. I know it is not about the number on the scale but it surely would be nice.

Dont know if this will help much, but I think I am detoxing also. It sounds like that is what is happening to you. I am really new at this too though, so wait for some of the experts to respond before deciding. I have been totally raw for 6 days and I am experiencing some really weird things. My lips are swollen and itching, I have a cold sore inside my bottom lip, the roof of my mouth hurts, I am having really weird itching spurts- my feet and hands itch so bad I can hardly stand it! and I am developing a rash! Boy I am painting a pretty picture huh??? I hope this is all over soon. I did fall of a little today at church and ate some cooked food, but all these symptoms were already there. I do wonder how I will feel tomorrow.......I lost 4 pounds the first few days, but the scale has stopped inching down and I am sure it will not read well tomorrow either...Just have to keep the faith and reassure myself that this is not just for weight loss, I want a better, healthier life all around.

I find that when I am detoxing, it is either a headache, pimples, a cold sore or fever
I only feel terrible in my tummy when I eat cooked, so I think that might be what you may be going through too.
