I've tried to find a raw poppy seed dressing recipe, and I don't have one in any of my books.
I'm making a spinach/strawberry salad for Mother's Day, and since it's the only thing I'm going to be able to eat, I want to have the dressing to go with it, too!
Any ideas?
Thanks so much!

iwas just looking for one too, but ended up making my own.
i used:
the juice of a lemon
a bit of honey ( to taste)
poppy seeds ( just eyeball it )
a little ( 2tablespoons?) of apple cider vinegar
and a touch of oil, but it wasn't necessary.
oh , and mine was for fruit salad, but if you are eating a spinach salad, i would reccomend using balsamic vinegar because it tasted really good in a spinach strawberry salad i once had. ( it actually had no spinach it was a fresh herb mix salad from earthbound organics, that has baby greens and herbs, very tasty with strawberries)
this is what the package says: http://www.ebfarm.com/Products/Salads/Specialty.aspx#FreshHerb
Organic Baby Lettuces (Red & Green Romaine, Red & Green Oak Leaf, Lollo Rosa, Tango), Organic Baby Spinach, Organic Red & Green Chard, Organic Mizuna, Organic Arugula, Organic Frisee, Organic Radicchio, Organic Parsley, Organic Dill, Organic Cilantro. The ingredients in each package may vary.
hope this helps, and the salad mix is just a suggestion, i am not knocking spinach- it is awesome!!

oh and you may need to adjust the amounts according to the size of the salad!!
