I would go pick up a candy thermometer at Wal-mart if you don't already have one...there only like $3...set the temp w/o any food in it and see what temp it goes to. I'd give it like 30 minutes so you get a good reading...that way you can just figure out what the temps out on your own! I'm guessing the less vents open the lower the temp...good luck!

I would also try testing the temp on different levels in the dehydrator. Say at the bottom and at the top. Most dehydrators circulate the air to maintain even temps...but just to be sure.

you may still be able to use it, try the temp thingy with a thermometer, and see if it is low enough to work for raw, if not, then you can always sell it and buy one with a temp, there are some inexpensive ones at kmart, walmart etc by nesco, american harvest snack masters, with temp control for about $40 or so.
Congratulations on manifesting something you really need.
