Over 50 Days Raw!!! Yeah!!!

WOW, Dragggon reminded me today, that I am over 50 days 100% raw.

I remembered it a couple of days ago, but forgot today, and yesterday.


this is so wonderful, I still think of cooked food, but just can't really think of eating it, just feels weird, LOL

which is a good thing.

I am happy eating raw food now, as I feel so much better.

I went to a bar-b-que today, and they had all of this cooked food, and I brought two salads, one all fruit, and the other a Mediteranian salad, and everyone ate my salads. They loved them.

I stayed raw, and although the bar-b-que smell brought back wonderful memories of bar-b-ques I had attended in the past, the fun I remembered wasn't about the food, it was the people and the fun I had.

It's nice to remember people and things that I used to do in another life on another planet far far away, LOL

and It's especially nice to be remembered by smells, and NOT associating them with food specifically, even though it was food that I was smelling.

Which sounds kind of odd, I know.

I am so pulling for you. Please don't ever eat cooked food again. I wanna see you as one of the teachers with uncooking videos and all. You are way to talanted to fall short. God forbid that you do eat cooked :eek: but if you do dust yourself off and then get right back on.

Congrat's to you and thanks for sharing your insight along the way. You've inspired me, taught me and made me laugh to as I've read many of your posts since I've been hanging out on this board. Thank you!

Girl ya do better than me...going to a bq and staying there...wow...impressive. The smell of meat would have ran me home after the first wiff! They were bqing at WildOats yesterday and I could hardly stand it! My son thought the faces I was making was sooooooooo funny!

I think the Cooked thinking will pass by with time. I read many say it does, it does take time though. I am finally over cooked food, at 8 months (extremely high) Raw. I went to a Celebration of Life last night (my best friends husband passed away a month ago) and I did not even desire to wander to the Buffet to even see what they had. But then again I was feeling very Sad for my dear friend and her family, and lately the only food I find appealing is fruit.

What is most important is that you are happy and healthy, which it definately sounds that way.

You are such a positive and inspirational person and whatever you have to say in response to something on this board is always that always jumps out at me and resonates with me so I can think a little bit more with what you are saying.

So keep up the good work, or should I say continue doing what ever is making you happy in order that you can keep sharing your joy with others.

A few weeks ago when I first began posting, and started out with 100% raw your encouragement was exactly what I needed.
