Hello, I just got my Alissa Cohen book and dvd. I have already finished the book and am excited on starting this process. I have a question about bragg liquid aminos, Alissa mentions it in quite a few of the recipes but does not say what it is or what it is for. Do health food stores sell this?

yes, health food stores sell this, is was thought to be a raw soy sauce, but it isn't, so we are now using Nama Shoyu, which Alissa does sell, tastes the same and is raw too.

The only bummer for me is that I cannot have wheat/gluten so I can't use Nama Shoyu. I love Bragg's too...........

i also love bragg's, but i recently decided to skip. it is easy enough to use nama shoyu or sea salt. i think sea salt is best.

does anyone know if there is a direct amt to substitute for braggs in recipes (if subbing nama or salt)?
