Hey all--I have been high raw (85-90%) since Monday and am noticing that I feel really nauceous in the morning--like it takes me awhile to work up the ability to eat. Is this just part of the 'detox'? Thanks--

LOL I thought the same thing when I read that!

I haven't been nauseous in the morning but I did notice that in the beginning I was actually hungry in the morning but had no appetite. If that makes any sense at all. I was never a breakfast eater. It took me awhile to start eating earlier but once I started eating a green smoothie soon after I woke up, my body started wanting one and that hunger feeling no longer haunts my mornings.

My husband was nauseous in the morning at first but I started giving him green smoothies and it went away.

My first thought was pregnancy as well. W/out more information it's hard to give you an answer. What are you eating at night? How late? What's the rest of your food program like?

Let's not freak out Amy today, OK? A few years ago when I first tried going raw I had a similar experience. I have noticed that I can manage juice (apple, carrot, r. pepper, r. cabbage, ginger, celery, and cucumber) and water after awhile in the AM. Today wasn't so bad and I started off with three kiwis. I have been eating really simply--basic fruits and veggies--no dehydrated things as of yet. I actually think that was something that sabotaged me last time--trying to be fancy with my food--I'm not a fancy food person, don't like to cook when I'm SAD so why would I want to 'cook' when I'm RAW? I don't. So I'm focussing on being simple. But what if...

I've been feeling the exact same way this week. I'm assuming it's just part of detox. Also, I've been eating a lot of nuts and sweet fruits to gain weight, but that's not ideal in the future...
Hope you feel better!
