Oh Alissa..... you said in your book that these were out of this world... YOU LIED!!!! They are better than that!!!! :D

If you have not ever made these - you MUST!!! They are so delicious and light and....and... delicious! I have such a yummy taste in my mouth now!!!! :p I just love middle eastern foods and this hit home with me. I am trying to get back to being 100% (which I have been so far today... hooray) and these will definetely be made often. They are not pricey either since I had everything except the fresh herbs!!!!

UGH.. I have got to get a new charger for my camera. My ds lost ours and I have not had the extra $ to get one! Maybe this weekend I will have a bit left over and be able to order one! So, anyway, no pics yet, but trust me... SO YUM! (and that was even before dehydrating... they will be better after, I am sure!)

what do people eat them with? what are they made of?
I know you won't give me the recipe, I just wondered what the base was if it's not beans?

I don't have Alissa's book, I have about 10 raw food books and I can't afford any more. And a lot of her food while delicious (she really is one of the best in the business - she's exceptional) is dehydrated, and I can't eat dehydrated food, it has a similar affect on me as cooked food, just not as severe.

oh yes, the falafel is sooooooo yummmy!!!! i made them a couple of months ago... i think it's time for me to make them again!

just curious.. did you soak your almonds first??

I didn't soak my almonds because Alissa did not mention it in her recipe. They turned out great regardless! :)
