Right now I am a little down because I am losing tremendous amounts of hair, my skin is yellowish/orange, and I have rashes/acne on my face. I know it must be detox, but how long is this going to last?

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to help my body with this detoxification? I just want my hair shiny again and my skin not to be yellowish/orange. :( :( :(

Eastersky, you will make it :)

Assuming you are not drinnking lots of carrot juice etc. That yellow orange face is associated with liver. I would drink warm lemon water to push the toxins away from the liver and kidneys plus it will rejuvenate it. Atichoke is an excellent liver tonic. Plenty of deep breathing, blood flow as in walking and bouncing. Skin brushing, detox baths are very helpful as well. Rest!!!!! if you can of course.

Please keep us posted. :)

Thank you Misslinda, I am going to buy some lemons today, and artichokes if there are any good ones at the store.

ShelShel: On a typical day I eat a banana, apple, and a handful of grapes for breakfast, a large salad for lunch with sundried tomatoes, broccoli, carrots and Braggs sesame ginger dressing, sometimes some dried fruit with lunch too, and I might have a snack like a banana or two and then for dinner it is another large salad with different types vegetables. I drink 8 glasses of water a day to help flush stuff out of my body.

Thanks for the help so far, and I will keep you posted!

P.S. I just recently increased my essential fatty acids to hopefully help with the hair situation. I also started washing my face with Dr. Bronner's magic soap, and applying Bragg's apple cider vinegar, and using coconut oil as a moisturizer. I got the face cleaning idea from an acne thread on this forum.

Hey girl I will call you tonight to help you out a bit with this!!! I went through the hair falling out and the yellow/orange skin... but trust me it goes away...

My weird skin color prob left in a few days. I never had acne so I don't know about that so it might last a few weeks or even a few days. The hair falling out... that takes awhile to rebuild. I'm STILL losing and it's been about a year since it started falling out, but it's starting to grow back mmmuuuuccchhh thicker and even wavier. I would ditch the Braggs sesame dressing...sorry to say but it's not raw. Eating lots of fruit and watching the fat can also speed up the cleansing process. You really wanna keep things moving if you know what I mean... maybe a fast would also speed up the process??? Look forward to talking to you!

Thanks Vandy! I just realized today that it is not raw. I think I am doing myself a favor by using it, and then you read something different. Thankfully, I like the taste of kale without any dressing. Hope finals are treating you well. Look forward to hearing from you.

Also don't forget enemas and colonics(if you can afford them -colonics are expensive.) They helped me to lessen my headaches.

I believe EFAs are really important to skin and hair texture. I also take MSM. My skin has improved greatly and my hair stylist is amazed at how strong and healthy my hair has become. My skin is really sensitive and I couldn't use that acne cure combination. I tried the coconut oil and my face really broke out. I take MSM and use an MSM lotion on my face and its made a huge difference.
