Does anyone know a raw recipe to mimic roasted red peppers?

I love the tast of roasted red peppers but i never liked putting them over fire.
Now i soak them in olive oil for a few hours inside a plastic bag with a little sea salt and then i put them in my dehydrater for about 2 hours and they are good to go.
Oh, i forgot i peel them first, i found a vegetable peeler that just takes the skin off. I cut them in quarters and peel each to get the tough skin off then i marinade them and pop them in for 2 hours.

Hmm, maybe thinly slice them (not in strips, but the actual section) CAREFULLY. That way you can marinate them and it'll make the softer (i'm thinking). Not sure what the marinade could consist of though.

So it's the marinating that softens the pepper. I got it.

Blessed what temperature do you set the dehydrator on?
