hmmm, I have a question! Does anyone raise their babies 100% raw? If so, what does a usual days diet consist of?
hi gatorgrrl,
my 18 month old daughter eats all raw food here at home- not always when we visit her grandparents. a typical day includes a cup of green smoothie and fruit in the morning; avocado, peas, tomato, banana, cucumber and some kind of dip for lunch; a smaller portion of whatever raw meal I've made for dinner. she usually has a couple of snacks throughout the day- fruit, a handful of nuts, seasoned pumpkin or sunflower seeds with almond butter. she does well with the food she eats and is really enthusiastic about all of it, however, it saddens me a tad to watch her noticing what other people are eating and know that as a parent, one can only do so much as far as role modeling goes.

hi
how old of a child are you talking about?
i journal at www.ethicalcentral.com/main
i put what my daughter eats everyday at the bottom of each days blog. she is 9 months. she is all raw. i put my sons there on mondays only as you never know who might turn you in for what. the thing with teh andersohn family scared me so i stopped writing his daily intake. he is 4. he eats usually all raw except on Saturday when he gets a little cooked. anyhow! you can go there and check out what they are eating :)
HTH! good luck in your research :)
