View Full Version : Karenisraw--this B12 ? is for you:)
Sorry for posting here, but we do not PM anymore~~~~
I got the Jarrow B12 5000mcg Methalcobalbin (i know i spelled this SO wrong:). I purchased it at Wild Oats and it was the only decent kind there. The directions state that I should take it every 3 days. Is that how you have done it??? Im concerned to not see the benefits.
I also know it has some natural sweeteners in it which is needed to make it sublingual...However, I am so so sensitive to ANY sweeteners I was a little nervous to take it. I am taking it like it says before eating and that should help.
Thanks Karen~~/b12 Queen~~~

I have the 1000 mcg sublingual tablets. I take between 2000-6000 mcgs per day. 1000 mcg's and above per day is considered a high dose. High doses are generally considered for therapeutic purposes for things like regenerating neurological damage, etc.
I would follow what the directions are on the package unless you are using it for therapeutic purposes and then I would talk to a good doctor or nutritionist that really knows what he is doing to make sure it is ok. I asked my RVD if I could take daily high doses and he said it would be fine.
Generally a typical dose is 500 mcg just for maintainance but I do not feel safe with less than 1000 mcg per day.
I am sure if you follow the directions you will be fine.
I will just take it BEFORE a meal every 3 days to be sure.
Did you notice results immediately?? or did it take a while.
Hoping you are doing VERY well:)

I personally noticed within 5 minutes. The tension went away in my jaw, I felt much more relaxed and happy. I felt very clear in thinking and bright and smarter withing about 30 minutes. I guess some people take longer to feel the difference but I noticed right away.
