I have a pancake receipe that calls for Brazil Nuts. Problem: Can't find any organic raw ones. What else can I use? Cashews? Macadamia? Walnuts? Pecan's? Does it matter what kind I use? ARe they all inner changable?

Thanks

Macadamia nuts will probably give you the closest flavor... both brazils and macs are high in saturated fat, which give them a very rich taste. Next best as far as flavor is concerned would be cashews, but most "raw" cashews aren't truly raw. Nuts aren't *all* interchangable, but you can definitely make some kind of substitution in most recipes.
