You provided some receipes for pancakes on this link:

CAn I substitue the brazil nuts with cashews or macadamia or walnuts? I could not find any brazil nuts today when I was at the store.

Thanks

I'm sorry, but I've not tried any of these recipes...I only listed them because I had seen them.

I'm sure you could, but I don't know if the flavor or texture will be different or "off" or anything.

Try it out...make maybe half or a quarter of the recipe and see how it turns out...then report the news back to us! :D

well, the pancakes and the strawberry/date syrup i made to go over the pancakes was great. I also made the raw sausage to go along with it and did not care for it. But they did really look like sausage patties. They might taste good in mushroom caps with some cheese or pesto though.

Try the sausage from russell James's Lasagna recipe I shape them and dehydrate them how delicious. I was even thinking about doing "scrambled eggs" using young cocount (very young flesh) sea salt, and tumeric. I would either dice or pulse it in the food processor. and there's the pancake sausage and "eggs". You must try the sausage from the lassagna recipe, it is very very good a little salty so maybe less miso or tamari.

you are so talking my husbands language...breakfast food. I'll give that one a try, thanks for pointing that one out Wannabraw. I wonder if it would be ok with just sea salt, instead of miso or tamari sauce?
